BEREAVEMENT POLICY
If in the event a First Degree Blood Relative of the tenant passes away Mimosa's policy is to issue a one week credit. Although this in no way is intended to compensate the deep grief and unfathomable loss that we all experience during such a time, this policy is in place to just help make the situation a little less hurtful.
This policy applies only after the Tenant has a 90 days on-time rent history before any claims can be made and this bereavement rent credit is only in the event that the Tenant has to leave out of town or otherwise is unable to work during that week.

First Degree Blood Relative - A first-degree relative is a family member who shares about half of their genetic information with specific other individuals in their family. First-degree relatives include an individual’s parents, siblings and offspring (i.e. Mother, Father, Spouse, Child, Brother, Sister).
