Mimosa Salon Suites and Fenice Blow Bar & Salon Policy Addition and Revision
This policy addition and revision was designed to ensure all tenants of Mimosa Salon Suites are managed fairly and in a consistent way. It is important that the revision here be followed and enforced as laid out.
This policy addition and revision refers to anyone that has been given access to the equipment in the main salon area.
As of 1/6/2021, if you have been granted access to any equipment outside of your suite, this is a formal reminder that you are restricted to only that specific item of use.
New additions:
- Equipment use within Fenice Blow Bar & Salon
- Reception area
- Waiting area
- COVID-19 Protocols in the salon
- Where to place waiting clients
Equipment Use
If you have been given access to specific equipment not inside of your suite, this was done so as a courtesy and as a favor to you. Having this access means you are restricted to only that item, whether that be shampoo bowls or dryers.
Any other use of the space is prohibited including the waiting area and the reception area. These areas are off limits due to two reasons:
- They are only to be used by renters of Fenice Blow Bar & Salon
- And of COVID-19 restrictions
To recap:
- When in the front area (Fenice Blow Bar & Salon), you are only permitted to use the item you were granted access to
- You are not permitted to use waiting area, dryers, or reception desk
COVID-19 Protocols
This new procedure will allow for you to schedule and keep your clients in the post-virus economy by keeping a safe and healthy distance between every client while giving you time to completely sterilize and sanitize your work area.
With the front area being leased to Fenice Blow Bar & Salon, using this protocol is absolutely necessary due to a peak in COVID-19 cases in the area.
- Inform your client to drive to your location and safely wait inside of their car for you to notify them when to enter. In the meantime, you should be sterilizing all your equipment, and disinfecting your chair and other tools.
- Text your client, let them know you are ready for them to enter. In some cases, you will want to let them in, to limit their access to outside surfaces.
- When they enter your salon, you should be all wrapped in PPE (i.e. disposable gloves, mask shields/face masks, aprons). Once you have completed your service, make sure to start the process over again by sterilizing all of your equipment, and disinfecting your chair and other tools. Additionally, you will swap gloves, and head equipment.
